FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
PRODUCT INFORMATION
What is the difference between an ecopolymer pool and a polyester pool?
The main difference is versatility. Ecopolymer pools can be custom-made and fully personalized. Additionally, they allow for overflow designs, which are not possible with polyester. Ecopolymer is a more resistant and durable material and is not susceptible to issues such as osmosis.
How do ecopolymer pools differ from concrete pools?
Ecopolymer pools are more resistant to ground expansion and contraction, so they do not suffer from cracks or leaks. They are also more cost-effective and quicker to install. Since ecopolymer is a continuous material, it does not require additional coatings and provides a seamless finish.
Main advantages of ecopolymer pools compared to traditional construction
- Faster installation.
- More affordable.
- Seamless finish, free of joints and leaks.
- Resistant to ground movements, preventing cracks.
- More eco-friendly and sustainable.
What are the differences between ecopolymer pools and fiberglass pools?
- Ecopolymer is more resistant and durable.
- Allows for customized designs, including overflow pools.
- Does not suffer from osmosis, unlike fiberglass.
- Smooth, anti-algae surfaces.
- Superior design with straight lines and 90° corners.
What does it mean for pools to be industrialized?
Our pools are entirely manufactured in a workshop under strict quality controls, minimizing errors. This process ensures perfect welding and a quick, efficient on-site installation.
How long does it take to install an ecopolymer pool?
- Poolins Ground: Once excavation and the base slab are complete, installation takes only 2-3 days.
- Poolins Up: Can be used on the same day of delivery, as long as the support slab and connections are ready.
Do ecopolymer pools require additional coatings?
No. Ecopolymer pools have a seamless and perfect finish, eliminating the need for additional coatings.
What warranty does the material have?
Ecopolymer comes with a 10-year warranty, provided it is correctly installed and maintained.
What permits are required to install an ecopolymer pool?
- Poolins Ground: Requires a municipal permit and a technical project drafted by an architect or surveyor.
- Poolins Up: Generally does not require a permit or a technical project.
What happens if I leave the pool empty for a long time?
The ground may exert pressure on the walls, causing misalignment. Additionally, prolonged sun exposure can affect the material. It is recommended to fill the pool immediately after cleaning.
Can ecopolymer pools be made in any size?
- Poolins Ground: Fully customizable, although size affects transportation.
- Poolins Up: Available in three standard sizes: Small, Medium, and Large, with dimensions available in our catalog and website.
Is the pool material slippery?
Underwater, ecopolymer is not slippery. However, as with any material, a thin layer of water on the surface could cause aquaplaning.
Can material damage be repaired?
Yes, ecopolymer is continuous and non-porous, making repairs easy. Welds can be redone, and scratches can be polished. Each case is assessed to determine the best solution.
